Track all 10 Big Poes in Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time — where each ghost appears while riding Epona, and how to trade them to the Ghost Shop for an empty bottle.

Big Poes are ghosts that only appear in Hyrule Field while you ride Epona as Adult Link. Shoot one with the Fairy Bow, catch its spirit in a bottle, and sell it to the Poe Collector in the Ghost Shop — the guard tower between the Market and Hyrule Field — for 50 Rupees each. Catch and sell enough and he rewards you with an empty bottle. Tick a box and your progress is stored in your browser.

You’ll need: Epona (the Epona side quest), the Fairy Bow, and an empty bottle. Locations are a starting point to verify as you play; screenshots are being added over time.

Hyrule Field

#1 On the ledge above the river between Kakariko Village and Zora’s River (you can also stand under the ledge to make it appear).

#2 At the crossroads by Hyrule Castle Town’s main gate, near the wooden signpost.

#3 By the corner of the angled wall on the eastern side of Lon Lon Ranch.

#4 Next to the stone on the path just south of Lon Lon Ranch, before the fence.

#5 At the crossroads leading to the Gerudo Valley entrance.

#6 By the bush closest to the tree near the Gerudo Valley entrance.

#7 In the circle of bushes near the small wooded area in southern Hyrule Field.

#8 Next to one of the trees in the small wooded area in southern Hyrule Field.

#9 By a bush west of Hyrule Castle Town, near the flowing river.

#10 Next to the tree at the Lon Lon Ranch entrance.
